Shipping Policy

SHIPPING POLICY
New Market Nigeria ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://www.NewMarket.ng) ("Website/App"). By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

GENERAL
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time to time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at the time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the back ordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.

SHIPPING RATES
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.

ORDER PROCESSING PROCEDURES
NewMarket operates using the GMT +1 time zone. In the catalogs on our site, we have products tagged ‘’Same Day Delivery’’. Orders for these products that are placed on or before 6 pm, will be processed and delivered on the ‘’same day’’ for Lagos/Abuja/Port Harcourt customers only (subject to availability in our Lagos/Abuja/Port Harcourt stores). Orders outside Lagos, but within Nigeria, will be processed and delivered within 2-5 working days of receipt.

All orders for other products are processed for delivery on an average of 3-15 working days with step-by-step processing notifications via text and email.

For international shipping, we move your package by courier service which takes about 7 to 21 business days to most countries in the world

It is important for you to note that orders placed during or immediately after a promo or clearance sale, may be delayed and may require up to 72 hours of additional processing time.

Just because we want to serve you better, we will require you to make payments before delivery for all orders.

Amount quoted for “Shipping Charges” is only for orders that weigh 0 - 2 KG (please note this price will change if your order weighs more than 2 KG)

Pickup Centres
Apart from our routine service delivery, we also have designated Pick up Centers where you can walk in and pick up your order at your convenience. We advise you to always check here for updates as we will provide updates on this list from time to time. Pick-up is free.

Courier Services
Our deliveries are handled within Nigeria by OyaDrop & Partners, and International by DHL, UPS & FedEx

Delivery Times

  • Transit Time Domestically

    In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 3- 15 Business days

  • Transit time Internationally

    Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 7 - 21 days. This varies greatly depending on the courier you have selected. We are able to offer a more specific estimate when you are choosing your courier at the checkout.

  • Dispatch Time

    Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days of payment of the order Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

  • Change Of Delivery Address

    For a change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

  • P.O. Box Shipping

    NewMarket will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer courier services to these locations.

  • Military Address Shipping (Nigeria Only)

    We are able to ship to military addresses using NIPOST. We are unable to offer this service using other courier services.

  • Items Out Of Stock

    If an item is out of stock, we will dispatch the in-stock items immediately and send the remaining items once they return to stock.

  • Delivery Time Exceeded

    If the delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

Tracking Notifications
Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link or waybill number from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

PARCELS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
If you find a parcel is damaged in transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with the next steps.

Process for parcel damaged in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as we (NewMarket) and the courier service have completed the investigation into the claim.

Process for parcel lost in transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.

Insurance
Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value stated by the courier.

DUTIES & TAXES
Import Duties & Taxes

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. This varies by country and NewMarket encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to NewMarket at the customer's expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of the goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.

CANCELLATIONS
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.
